And then there’s pirate hunter Ashley Cutler, who is determined to capture Bennett and her bounty. A dark historical romance with a dash of enemies to lovers. You’ll eat this one up. |
CapturedFamous privateer Dominic LeVeq has made it his mission to rescue slaves during the American Revolution. When he raids a British frigate, he discovers the beautiful Clare. 💌 Romancelandia News
The marketing for Colleen Hoover’s It Ends with Us movie has been messy. The book and movie are not romances, but they have been marketed as rom coms by part of the cast. Justin Baldoni has consistently spoken about the depiction of domestic violence.
Ms. Magazine on It Ends with Us: “But like too many books and movies, It Ends With Us feeds into the very structures of toxic masculinity that it purports to combat. It romanticizes red flags and glorifies a charismatic-but-dangerous man (he’s complicated! he’s damaged!) and it ultimately delivers a decidedly anti-feminist message.”
Fated Mates is phone banking to elect Democrats. Volunteer callers can get prizes and make new friends with other romance readers.
